Reporting an error
To fix a problem quickly, include three things:
- The page address, for example
/tools/oee-calculator/. - The input values you used, so the same result can be reproduced.
- The figure you expected and where that expectation comes from.
Formula and arithmetic errors are treated as high priority and are usually corrected within a few days. Where a disagreement is about a definition rather than an error — whether changeover belongs in downtime, for instance — the page will be updated to state the convention explicitly rather than changed to a single "right" answer.
Suggesting a calculator
Send the formula you use, the inputs a person would realistically have to hand, and the unit you expect the answer in. Suggestions that come with a real worked example from your own process are far more likely to be built, because the example becomes the test case.
What is not offered
No consulting, no custom development and no plant-specific modelling. This site is a reference tool, and its independence is the reason it can stay free.
